Our NS Digital Label line of ‘coating-printing-finish’ changes that paradigm and provides a superior solution versus digital alternatives. This new, end-to-end solution coats, prints, laminates, die cuts, slits, and finishes labels in a single in-line process.

Digital Label printing press
Our NS digital label press brings converters other key benefits that the Flexo or UV system process cannot provide. In the past, the quality of Flexo-produced labels surpassed those that were produced digitally. But today, label systems like the NS are producing labels with quality that is equal to or better than Flexo.
With its integrated web guide, flexo station and IR-Infra red drying unit, the CS22 coating process allows label converters to leverage existing Flexo label media for digital printing, eliminating the cost premium and hassle associated with managing separate digital label stocks.
The NS Pro Evo label press module delivers finished high-quality color labels with almost zero set up time or cost. Speed goes up to 18 lm (linear meter)/minute, while resolution up to 1600x1600 dpi are reached. Equipped with its 2 Eco BST web edge guiding systems (ultrasonic edge sensors) and winders for roll sizes up to ø500mm on a 76mm core, it allows label media from 80mm to 240mm width and a thickness of 4 pt/mil to 12 pt/mil (0.1 – 0.3mm).The platform comprises a double sided frame for printing section, (un)winders for easy access, large service doors & easy 2 liter ink tank, optical print mark/label sensor with adjustable position, and a splice table with magnet clamps.
Besides the unique and user-friendly in-house operational software, an optional pre-installed PC workstation is offered with the RIP Caldera C3 Grand RIP Plus+ (Adobe PDF Print Engine + Pro Driver + Colour management + Spot Color matching ( including Pantone libraries) + Step& repeat + Nesting + Contour Nesting + Printbleed + Hotfolder support + EasyMedia + CostProof + Trim-o-Matic + Graphtec Driver + remote customer training + 3 months de support).
Finally, at the end of the line, the F22 Label finishing module comprises a semi-rotary magnetic cylinder die cutting unit, an extra digital cutting plotter, a cold lamination unit, as well as a slitting & matrix waste remover, and eventually the rewinder. It is easy to install, requiring no special venting, or chemical handling processes associated with UV inkjet presses.

Speed goes up to 300mm/second, while resolutions up to 1600x1600 dpi are reached. It allows cardboard media up to 1200mm
The platform comprises an embedded controller & QA chip, easy accessible 2 liter ink tanks, an ink delivery system with intermediary reservoirs, modular multi-funtional maintenance stations and generous access service doors.
NS Software allows user to access to both Ink level control and automatic consumables alert. The printing system includes a high-powered PC as well allowing you to install variable data software and alternative RIP solutions as your business needs development and growth.
